Short version: buy a cushion, ride it, and if something is wrong tell us. The longer version is below, and it applies whenever you use honie.co.uk or place an order with us. If any of it does not sit right with you, please do not use the site.
Questions about any of this go to hello@honie.co.uk.
Who you are dealing with
honie.co.uk is run by Honie. We sell honeycomb gel cushions for motorcycle rider and pillion seats, direct to riders, and nowhere else.
What we sell and how it is described
Our cushions are made for personal use on your own bike. We describe them as honestly as we can and photograph them as they actually look, but screens differ and a black cushion on your phone will not be pixel-for-pixel what lands on your doormat. Measurements listed on the product pages are the ones to go by.
We may decline to sell to a particular person or ship to a particular country where that is sensible or required of us.
Prices
Everything is listed in pounds sterling, VAT included where it applies. Prices move from time to time, particularly around promotions, and we do not give notice before they do. If a price appears on the site that is obviously wrong, we will contact you before doing anything and you will not be charged the wrong amount.
Placing an order
When you check out you are telling us that you are 18 or over, that the card is yours to use and that the delivery details you have entered are correct. We may turn down an order where something looks like fraud, where a price was wrong or where stock has run out. If that happens you get your money back in full and an email explaining why.
An order confirmation is an acknowledgement that we have received your order. The contract between us starts when we dispatch it.
Delivery
Timings and costs are set out on our shipping page. Once a parcel is with the courier we are dependent on them, as is everyone, and we cannot be held to a timetable that weather, strikes or customs have interfered with. What we can and will do is chase it for you.
Returns
Our returns page has the detail, including your 14-day right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and our own 60-day ride test.
The content on this site
The words, photographs, diagrams, logo and page designs on honie.co.uk are ours. Please do not lift them for your own store, listings or adverts. If you would like to use something, ask us first and there is a fair chance the answer is yes.
Manufacturer names mentioned for fitment purposes belong to those manufacturers. We are not affiliated with any of them.
Where our responsibility ends
If we get something wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid for the order, so far as the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by any of this.
A cushion is a comfort product, not safety equipment. Fit it properly using the straps supplied and check it is secure before you set off.
Which law applies
English law governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute arising from them.
If we change these terms
We may update this page as the business changes. The version published here at the time you order is the one that applies to that order.
